Green Coyote Tomatillo Sour by Odell Brewing Co. The perfect beer for taco night! Tonight I prepared a feast of Mexican favorites from barbacoa tacos to Mexican street corn for a group of my boyfriend's friends. Although they're all beer aficionados, somehow I was tasked with finding a great beer option in lieu of margaritas. While I immediately thought of serving Coronas or Dos Equis, I realized that's what my parents drink. It's a boring, predictable, and frankly irresponsible choice. Living in Colorado I have access to some of the best beers in the world. So, I went with a local brew - Odell's Green Coyote Tomatillo Sour. You read that right. Tomatillo Sour.  I wanted to choose a unique beer (the tomatillo flavor offered that!) but also something that would be a crowd pleaser. This sour, based off of German Style Berliner-Weisse, was incredibly refreshing and surprisingly fruity. I picked up notes of kiwi, lemon, and cucumber flavors. Pairs well...
